Christmas is here
And it is the dawn of a new day
That shall witness
The rejuvenation of the multitude
Whose life has been
A calligraphy of agony
And a mosaic of misery
Christmas is here
And it is the birth of a new hope
That will illumine the portal of death
Dispelling the hovering cloud of despair
Over those who hunger for truth
And thirst for justice.
We have indeed been vacillating
Between fragments of reality
And elements of absurdity
And in our refracted vision
We have seen our toil and tears
Intermingling
In the cesspool of shame
That we call home
Yes, it has been a protracted night
Of fruitless toil and un-assuaged grief
In the fractured perspectives
Of a marginal existence
That we call life.
But behold Christmas is here
Heralding a sudden twist in fate
For those who gracefully sowed their tears
A change in fortune
For those who faithfully
Invested their sorrows
In the mysterious hand
Of the Tremendous Lover
I can see the Sun of the new vision
Peering through the horizon
With the message etched in gold
That the time is near
For those who toiled in tears
To reap a harvest of joy
That our grieves and anxieties
Shall not end up
In the ocean of decay
And that our pool of tears
Is a valuable resource
Which shall soon be transformed
Into an oasis of fortune
This is my Christmas hope!
